Brisbane experiences

New Farm Park

New Farm Park is located at the southern most end of New Farm on the Brisbane River. One of Brisbane’s oldest and most loved parks, New Farm Park attracts locals and visitors to its leafy and grassed areas in droves, for picnics, walks, and family get togethers.

A recent plan to close the kiosk built up so much passion from concerned locals that Brisbane Council will now be investing in a new kiosk and upgrade the New Farm ferry terminal at the corner of the park.

This very busy park has lots to offer, with Farmers Markets, the Powerhouse with its restaurants and bars, music and entertainment held at regular intervals through out the year. There is also a moonlight cinema here in the summer months.
